The ultraviolet is called ultraviolet rays whose wavelength is shorter than that of the human eye but longer than X rays. Because the human eye can see the range of red and purple light. There are ultraviolet lamps which provide UV radiation in ultraviolet filter systems used in air handling units. Quartz tubes are used to optimize UV radiation to prevent water contact with the ultraviolet lamp. The life of UV lamp is 9000 hours. After a period of about a year has elapsed, you can re-activate the system by simply changing the lamp.
This special light, which is used as a disinfectant, is also referred to as short-wave light or UV-V light. This light enters the UV-C band from 200 nm (nanometer) to 280 nm.
The wavelength of the light required for disinfection is 253.4 nm (0.0002534 mm). These lamps are used as sterilizers by applying them in different ways according to the environments they will be using. U.V rays of 253.4 nanometer wave size disrupt the DNA structure of the bacteria of microorganisms, viruses, molds and fungus spores by 99.99% and immediately disable them.
It prevents replication between DNA molecules in the Timin molecule.
