Plug-in fans are preferred depending on demand, because they are easy to clean and prevent the accumulation of dust on the surfaces. Depending on the air flow-pressure characteristic, the plug fans are directly applied as a coupling or belt-pulley.

Plug fans used in small air handling units are fans with single suction and backward curved wings. The rotor is mounted directly on the motor shaft. The whole moving system is mounted on spring or rubber insulators. Plug fans can be removed from the side in small air handling units.

In the case of Kzc air handling units, frequency converters suitable for the plug fan and motors are applied separately. Illumination of the fan cell is provided by controlled hermetic armatures.
